Dr. Shelley is awesome, he sure knows his stuff when it comes to ACL/TPLO surgery. We can't say enough good things about Dr. Shelley and his staff, everyone is kind and helpful at Bourbon City Animal Hospital. We are so thankful Dr. Shelley was referred to us esp. Boots.( the dog). We come from Indiana to see Dr. Shelley and it is worth the extra travel time to have the quality care our pet gets and we feel good and confident with his care. Dr. Shelley is a nice person and his wife is real sweet too! He listens and explains everything and answers any questions you might have. Update: Back again for the other leg same procedure. He is doing great so far. Dr. Shelley is a Godsend for Boots and for us. Great Vet and staff. More people need to know about him if faced with a pets ACL issues. He is the best!!!

I cannot say enough good things about Bourbon City Animal Hospital! We actually drive 3 hours from Nashville to bring Niko here, and we would make the drive again and again because of the incredible care he receives. Dr. Crabtree is Niko’s main vet, and we absolutely love him, but everyone at the office is amazing. They always take such good care of Niko, love on him, and treat him like he’s their own. You can genuinely tell that the entire staff cares about the animals and their well-being. One of the things I appreciate most is that I never feel like they are just trying to make money. They don’t recommend unnecessary tests, medications, or procedures just to increase the bill. They are honest, thorough, and always seem to make recommendations based on what is truly best for the animal. The fact that we are willing to drive three hours each way from Nashville says everything about how much we trust them. I’m so thankful we found a vet that we can completely trust with Niko. 🐾❤️ Highly recommend Dr. Crabtree and everyone at Bourbon City Animal Hospital!

This establishment is unequivocally the finest animal hospital in the vicinity. From the moment of arrival to departure, the entire staff consistently demonstrates exceptional professionalism and courtesy. The level of care provided to your pet is comparable to that which they would extend to their own. They meticulously explain all procedures and information, ensuring a comprehensive understanding without the hurried approach often encountered at other veterinary practices. Furthermore, it is noteworthy that this is the sole veterinary facility I have encountered that maintains an impeccably fresh and odor-free environment. I wholeheartedly endorse this practice for anyone seeking outstanding care for their beloved pets.
