Crestwood Animal Hospital

All the doctors and staff there are very knowledgeable and helpful and take excellent care of pets.

I have been a client here for years. I had been considering a vet change for some time due to some less than great experiences. Last week clinched it for me. I got up on Monday morning to discover my dog had vomited multiple times overnight. I decided to give Crestwood another chance and called not long after they opened. While I was on the phone, my dog vomited twice more. The person who answered was very short with me and said there was not an appointment available for two days. I explained how sick my dog was and asked if there was a work-in, a drop-off or anything they could do. She curtly told me to call back the next day and see if there was a work-in then, that they were short-staffed. Interesting that their website markets same-day appointment availability. Also, her attitude and the fact that they were short-staffed did not make me feel good about the care my dog or I would receive. So, that's it, I'm done with this place. It's nothing like the hospital I loved and visited for many years, which is really disappointing. I do highly recommend Dogwood Veterinary Clinic though. They got me right in, even as a new client, and provided excellent patient care and client service.

Great experience at our dog's yearly visit. The staff was kind, caring, and thorough. We really appreciated the complimentary dog nail trim and quick follow up on his bloodwork. Highly recommend!

I will never bring my pets here again. I took my cat in because she had been scratching and being very reclusive. When I told them this they checked for fleas but couldn’t find any, yet gave her a treatment for fleas even though none were found. They did not run any other tests to see if anything was wrong. They said if she’s not better in 3 days bring her back. 3 days later it was worse so I called to try and get her in but they told me they can’t see her until the following week, which was 6 days away. The next day my cat collapsed, I had to rush her into an emergency vet where I found out she had a UTI that led to kidney failure. We ended up having to put her down that day. They told me if it was caught sooner it would’ve been treatable. Crestwood did not do what they should’ve, ignored me when I told them she had gotten worse, and you can tell in the end game the don’t care about their patients. I also called and respectfully asked to speak with someone regarding my concerns, the did not call me back. I am very unhappy with the service that I received. I don’t recommend this vet, it seems they are happy to take your money, but not take care of your pet. Very disappointing. Now I lost my best friend because they did not do their due diligence.
