Todd County Animal Clinic

Excellent service, highly recommend

Brought my dog in before and got ear drops for his yeast infection. Bout a year later it came back was able to come in and buy the drops again without bringing my dog in. My dog 14 yo does not do good going to vet, has yeast infection again and they want me to bring him in and will not allow me to just buy the ear drops. I’m on a fixed income and this feels very much like a money grab.

Went in for OFA testing. My dog was taken at the counter for her appointment. I never once spoke to a veterinarian about the appointment and before I left I confirmed I would be able to speak to him about results when I picked her up. Overall the service in my experience hasn’t been personable. When I spend hundreds of dollars a year at the vet for my dogs I’d like to at-least at minimum have a conversation with the vet and my concerns during our visit. I had to requested a copy of her X-ray’s. So I could verify Service were completed and also look into the results for myself. At minimum, it should have been a conversation while examining the X-rays explaining the findings at thoughts on the everything during the pickup. Instead my dog was walked back out to the counter(by the vet tech), I was charged and they gave me a receipt. Very disappointed and uncomfortable with the practices of the clinic. At the end of the day a vet tech doesn’t have the credentials to consult me. Kinda like when a patient goes to the doctors office. He/She has schedule to see the doctor not the nurse. Also the receptionist had no idea what our dog would be sedated with when the information was requested and had 0 knowledge of what OFA testing actually was…. I mean 0 knowledge, it had to be explained that I was say O as in Oscar, F as in Frank, A as in Apple.

Every time I come here the blonde girls are always so rude. The one little girl that always got the clip board always asking everyone else for help with her job. Like are you sure you can handle being in a vet clinic? The inventory woman with the short brown hair is very rude to a lot of the customers. She’ll come out acting like she counting the same things but really she looks bored with her job. Was in here several times this past year for a lot of my cats needs and every little girl here really don’t know what there doing. If you that stressed why you even working there? One of these kids that work here think she cute by acting like she don’t know what she doing or something coming back five times asking the same questions. It don’t make no sense. Are you sure you studied in school? Last time I was here they sent a redneck to take documents and he didn’t even know how to use the computer like why’s everyone dating eachother here? As a customer who comes here regularly. I pay a lot of money to have certain things done. I’ll continue to make weekly reports as well as Leto g everyone in the area know about this place. Looking forward to the continued visits hopefully everyone knows there job better. If not someone getting sued.
