Harlan Animal Hospital

I had a great experience at Harlan Animal Hospital even though it was a tearful visit. I read some of the reviews and was hesitant at first but I'm glad I tried them out. The entire staff was kind and understanding. I'll be back with my other 2 dogs.

If I don’t have anything good to say I normally keep my mouth shut but this might help someone. I left this place praying and emotionally tore up. The vet was EXTREMELY rude and aggressive for no reason other than I couldn’t be bullied into getting a bunch of extra vaccinations for my cat who was a stray I picked up at work and had brought to be neutered and treated for a wound. He was very condescending and said he’d charge me more for NOT taking the vaccinations that day and I said that’s fine because he rubbed me wrong pushing me very aggressively to get them immediately. He acted as if he got mad because I said that’s fine if he charged me extra for not getting them. I had previously told him I don’t have alot of money and had worked all the previous night and was feeling overwhelmed. He was so rude and condescending I almost grabbed my cat and left with him. I sat and prayed in the parking lot about what to do. He went out of site and laughed at me for agreeing to being charged for the exam(which he said he’d waive the fee for if I had the extra vaccinations done that day). I wondered if was just me he didn’t like but after reading all the reviews for his clinic evidently it wasn’t just me. I wondered if he’d treat my cat ok and do what was supposed to be done, this man acted so unprofessionally, I was shocked! I would not recommend him, if you go and are treated poorly it’s not you, it’s him! Hope this helps someone! He ended up charging me well over 300 for a neuter and antibiotic for wound.
