Do not recommend taking your pets here. They care more about the money than your pet. Trust me. And receptionist staff need more training. I could write an essay but I won't waste your time. I had to put down my pet myself after they denied to do a $1400 life saving surgery when I had 700$ cash to put down. It's not about the pet....

I am writing this after having put my cat down a few hours ago. He was sick a week or so ago, needed to find a vet with availability, which they had, and so I took him here. I was told he was likely just a bit overweight and depressed; He had the runs and was vomiting some, just normal sick cat stuff. During the checkup I specifically asked how his heart was doing, mentioned that I was concerned about the symptoms he was showing which paralleled early signs of congestive heart failure, he had a heart murmur when he was a kitten, and I was told it was still there, but wasn't too bad, got meds for the puking, a new diet, sent me on my way. Guess what he just died from? The heart murmur, which had turned into late-stage congestive heart failure and almost certainly was happening during that previous visit. The emergency vet made it clear it was several orders of magnitude worse than what I was told, and after getting X-rays it was VERY apparent what was going on, and sadly he was far beyond saving. Am I saying that Oak Grove Animal Hospital was solely responsible for the death of my friend? No. But I am saying they utterly failed him when I needed them to be right. Do not recommend coming here.

Please donot take your dog here . They only care about making money , and ripping dog owners off by not giving refills knowing dogs are in pain and suffering, when I arrived no one was there I see why . Also to make you pay more Dr will act like they don’t know really what to give and claim they will try this or that so what did vet school teach please rip off place just want you to have to do extra visits to charge more money visit was with Dr . We love it here. They take care of all of our cats and everything is really reasonably priced. They did a surgery on one of our cats and fixed it a second time for nothing. One of the techs we didn’t care for. She had broken English and was very careless with our cats. Just avoid the one that wears glasses and has broken English. She is awful.

⭐ **Oak Grove Animal Hospital** Brought my kitten in to be neutered. Unfortunately, his testicles were positioned higher than expected, and they couldn't complete the procedure. I completely understand stopping if it wasn't safe to continue. My issue is that they apparently didn't discover this until **after my kitten had already been put under anesthesia**. So my kitten went through anesthesia, the neuter was never completed, and I took him home still needing the procedure I originally brought him in for. **But I was still charged the full price.** I understand paying for services that were actually provided, but charging the same price as a completed neuter for a procedure that wasn't completed doesn't sit right with me. **10/10 billing. 10/10 anesthesia. 0/10 completed neuter.**
