Review from 2025 Dr. Smith saw my chicken over the weekend when she was attacked by a raccoon despite us being new to the practice. We're so grateful. Hopefully Meatloaf will pull through! Update: the wound is healing up nicely and she's doing well! Update 2: she pulled through and is laying eggs again, etc. the wound was huge so that area still isn't perfect, but she's obviously feeling much better. ————————— we had a severe dog attack with our chickens on 5/1/2026 when a dog dug under our fence. Two of our birds were mauled, and unfortunately, meatloaf was one of those birds, again. Dr. Smith was patient and understanding, even though I felt like a psycho wasting money on these chickens again lol. The birds attacked were my favorite and oldest hens, Anna and meatloaf. After sutures and a lot of care by this office, l am so happy to say, both chickens are doing well and made it. Meatloaf laid 5 eggs within 2 weeks of the attack. I highly recommend this vet because even if they think you're silly for wanting to save a chicken (or a couple of chickens), they will help you do it with a smile on their faces. Meatloaf is the most expensive chicken I know. (Picture a few week after the attack)

We had our first visit here today. Love the walk-in scheduling for routine care. The doctor was patient with my two nervous dogs. He was also very knowledgeable and kind. The cost for the visit was much less than our previous vet. They are also able to dispense flea and tick meds on site, which is convenient. Thank you for taking good care of my babies!
